Alianne has experience working with the frail, elderly, and individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. She has assisted people with disabilities gain employment in the community and has helped individuals with autism and cerebral palsy use Tobii communication devices.
For over 10 years Alianne has worked with and advocated for individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. After experiencing care lacking compassion and empathy, she devoted her life to being the change and showing others a genuine level of respect and comfort. She has served as a caregiver in a group home, a CNA in a hospital, and as a care manager. These experiences helped shape her career and strengthened her desire to help others.
When not working Alianne enjoys spending time with my family, spending as much time outside as possible, and being co-chair on the VOICES committee through Sojourner Family Peace Center – spreading awareness on domestic violence.
