Angie has spent the last 20 years working with children and adults with a variety of abilities. She brings both professional and personal experience as a mother of a child with disabilities to her position with Connections as an IRIS consultant.
Previously, Angie worked as a case manager in a prevocational setting in Appleton, teaching employment skills to individuals with a range of abilities and mental health conditions. Angie has also worked in a Day Services Program, Personal Care Worker and Sign Language Interpreter.
Angie is also a parent mentor for families who have a child with deaf blindness and hearing loss.
She received an associate’s degree in Educational Interpreting, a Psychology Certificate from Northcentral Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in Human Services Leadership from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh.
Angie is enthusiastic to work with individuals in surrounding communities. She believes everyone deserves to have access to their community. Her knowledge personally and professionally is a great resource for others to help them live their best life.
Angie enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her down time she likes to camp, kayak, read and practice yoga.
