Casey has experience volunteering with people with ASD and older adults.

He began working with the IRIS program in 2010. Prior to this he says he had no idea what self-direction was but what he did know was that he wanted a career that could make a difference in people’s lives. His own personal value statement is, “Help others to live a meaningful, dignified life”. He believes he’s been able to do this by supporting self-direction in Wisconsin.
The first chapter of his career was working on the Fiscal Employer Agent (FEA) side of self-direction. Casey’s experience working for an FEA involved outreach, vendor payments, payroll, onboarding, quality assurance and program integrity. This range of experiences has given him a holistic view of how self-direction touches lives. Additionally he has enjoyed volunteering my time helping and spending time with older adults and individuals that have developmental delays.
In his free time Casey enjoys spending time with his daughter's, particularly engaging in outdoor activities. Many times you can find them enjoying local county parks or up in the Northwoods.
