Accepting New Participants
Emily joins the Connections team bringing her experience serving adults throughout the Southeastern Wisconsin area. She is extremely passionate about serving the aging and disabled population as an advocate to ensure individuals receive the services that they need as well as desire. She has spent the last four years serving adults working in a home and hospice agency, a community based residential facility (CBRF), and a skilled nursing facility (SNiF). She has also done volunteer work with disabled young adults, persons enrolled in hospice, and individual’s receiving various forms of government assistance. Having worked with adults in various stages of their lives, Emily believes in providing person-centered care with an emphasis on developing a greater quality of life. Her goal is to help participants learn about the numerous resources the community has available and aid them in the process of accomplishing greater personal success.
Emily holds degrees with emphasis on Social Work, Public Relations, Ethnic Studies, and has received additional training in dementia care. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, reading, and spending time in the community. She loves animals of any kind and is a proud owner of a rescue dog. She is most excited to serve her participants as an ally and advocate to help them achieve their medical, personal, and professional goals
