Lori has found great reward in working with youth who have a variety of special needs and teaming with families to support them. She has extensive experience working with families who have a child or children with autism.  Lori understands the challenges for families as they advocate for their child for education and independence into adulthood. She enjoys talking with families and listening to their concerns and celebrating the successes they have.  Lori has worked with a local librarian and started a story time for children with Autism, and have coached Special Olympics basketball in my free time.

Lori is married and have two adult children. Her daughter is a nurse and her son who has special needs has successfully completed training and job support and loves his job at a garden center. Lori volunteers in the community.  She loves to knit, read, watch football, as well as participate in outdoor activities, especially attending local festivals
