Tanya has experience in direct care, case management, program coordination, support brokering and building community relationships has prepared her for this diverse role. She has a passion for learning and has been diligently pursing leadership growth opportunities both personally and professionally, that will help others live meaningful and fulfilling lives. In the past, Tanya has worked with youth & adult participants to reach goals, while adding tools to their toolboxes. She is a strong mental health advocate and actively involved with NAMI in both State and NAMI Barron County affiliate levels. I am a certified and facilitator for NAMI Basics and Family to Family Support Group.
Tanya made Rice Lake her permanent home 20 years ago until all of her children graduate. She is a mother of six with only two still in the home nest and enjoys her four grandbabies! Tanya loves coffee, traveling, reading books, snuggling with her cats, exploring nature, specifically around water, her faith community and eating ice cream! She completes many puzzles with her family during long winters and donates them to assisted living home residents to brighten their day.
