My academic background and professional experience have thoroughly prepared me for this position. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in special education, which provided a strong foundation in human behavior, learning theory, and evidence-based instructional practices. For eight years, I served as a special education teacher with Milwaukee Public Schools, working primarily with students diagnosed with Autism and Emotional Behavioral Disorders. In this role, I developed and implemented individualized education plans (IEPs), utilized data-driven interventions, and applied behavioral and social-emotional strategies to support student growth. This experience strengthened my ability to manage complex needs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and create structured, supportive environments that promote success.
